Course type: Theoretical and Practical
The objective of the course is to give remote sensing users with an overview of thermal infrared remote sensing applications using Copernicus Sentinel-3 images as well as data from other thermal infrared sensors such as Landsat, MODIS and ASTER. Practical sessions will be performed using SNAP toolbox.
Students and professionals in the area of environmental science, who are interested in remote sensing applications using thermal infrared data for monitoring surface temperature and energy fluxes over agricultural areas, forests, lakes, urban areas, etc.
